my name is Sheila and i am a twenty-something-year old living away from home (Hong Kong). in between editing children’s books and project managing new digital products in my day job, i daydream a lot about what to cook!
having my own kitchen means that i get a lot of space to experiment - and experimented i have (on my dear housemates)! i’m still trying to cultivate that culinary instinct which makes an average cook, good.
i rarely follow recipes, using them more as sources of inspiration in terms of flavour combinations or presentation style. so you won’t find any set rules or recipes here; i usually just bumble along and improvise - great for using up leftover ingredients.
